The last two digs have unearthed many medieval & roman coins in various conditions and show that the history of these two areas that are closely linked have a multitude of activity through the ages.
This dig took place mid November and was limited numbers due to limited parking. Two very large fields in newly sown grass, previously arable so last chance for some years whilst quality is great.Two soil types, stoney soft and second sandy. Some finds are shown below.
