Welcome To North Detecting Events, a Metal Detecting group based in the North East of England. We organise regular digs in North Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Our digs focus on quality and not quantity, meaning our digs can fill up quickly. We limit the amount of detectorists for each dig to ensure that there is more than enough land for everyone. North Detecting Events is ran by detectorists for detectorists. We cater for all skill levels, so if you are looking to attend your first ever organised dig, or have been detecting for decades, you have found the right group. We are a friendly approachable group with a very diverse range of members.
This year – North Detecting Events are raising funds for the Little Princess Trust. This charity provides massive support for young people with cancer. All donations will be in memory of Grace Sanderson. This is a charity very dear to North Detecting events. To donate please click HERE.
